In the Kingdom of Elsewhere, just to the left of Nomansland and not far from Xanadu, sits Royal Nerdal Norton – a town so small and insignificant that only the gods and mapmakers have heard of it. And now you, of course. But Royal Nerdal Norton has a problem. Small brown monkeys are causing all manner of mischief and bother, and not even Maurice Hankey the incompetent court magician, or Terry Bunce the haphazard inventor can help. So it’s up to Solomon Smee, a small boy with brown-rimmed glasses and dark, dark hair, to save the day!
